Photographer David Noyes joins Danita Delimont Stock Photography

Award winning photographer and travel writer David Noyes announced this week that he has signed on with Danita Delimont Stock Photography.

Danita Delimont, who was named the 2009 Jane Kinne Picture Professional of the Year, established her boutique stock agency in 1999 and now represents a diverse group of 300 world-class photographers and several international agencies. The agency specializes in evocative and iconic representations of worldwide travel destinations, natural habitats, ecosystems, animal behaviors, landscapes, and a diversity of world cultures and their traditional lifestyles.

“I have been fortunate in the last 15 years that my work has allowed me to visit some of the world’s great places,” commented Noyes.  “I have collected thousands of wonderful photographs, most of which were shot for editorial assignments or personal projects and not widely distributed,” he continued.

A graduate of RIT and Harvard University, David Noyes has received 12 North American Travel Journalist Association (NATJA) awards for his photography and travel writing including the Grand Prize for Photography in 2010 and 2011. He was also awarded a prestigious 2010 Lowell Thomas Award for his article on The Sacred City of Shiva about Varanasi, India.

Noyes is a regular contributor to Lifestyle + Travel magazine and was the founding editor and publisher of AAA’s Member Connection magazine and Experience Outdoors. In 2008, Noyes was the subject of a two-part China Travel Channel television special program that followed his work in Beijing.

“While it will take me some time to get my archives into her stock image collections, I am very excited about joining Danita’s stable of travel photographers,” said Noyes.
